The Game:
In Yooka-Laylee Game Decks, 2-4 players can buddy up with Yooka, Laylee, Capital B or Dr. Quack for an epic adventure, crammed with characters, challenges, and collectibles inspired by the indie smash, including:
- Quills, quills, quills! Use quills to buy Glide, Reptile Roll and Honey Puddle powerups to give yourself an edge over your opponents.
- The Ghost Writers! Have you got what it takes to beat their fiendish challenges and earn a bucket-load of points?
- Characters you love (and hate)! You’ll find Blasto, Kartos, Trowzer and TONS more sprawled across the Game Decks board, brought to life with stunning hand-painted artwork.
Featuring a modular build-your-own board system that can be different every time you play and even combined with other Party-Styled Game Decks, Yooka-Laylee is a uniquely collectible and endlessly fun tabletop game you can fit in your (Trowzer) pocket.
Original Game Decks Soundtrack - Capital B-Sides:
When Playtonic agreed to work with us, they said under one condition: that we produce and release an album of brand-new Yooka-Laylee songs to launch alongside it as an official Game Decks soundtrack. Actually that’s a lie - they’re very nice and would never demand anything, but we did it anyway and are proud to announce “Yooka-Laylee Capital B-Sides” - an Original Game Decks Soundtrack featuring ten tunes written and produced by Perry Burkum that are perfect when paired with the tabletop game. Check out a sample of the first track, titled “Sun of a Beech” in our launch trailer.
Yooka Laylee and the Kracklestone (Graphic Novel):
The officially licensed 120-page epic graphic novel based on the hit video game series! This limited edition resembles the Grand Tomes from the games, featuring a gorgeous blue and gold combo to match Playtonic’s iconic colors. Its ultra-premium hardcover is bound with a lush textured cloth and an elegant de-embossed gold foil design on the front and back. The extra-thick pages are edged with gold gilding to complete the design.
The story continues the adventures of Yooka and Laylee as they journey into a brand new Grand Tome! Join their quest for the legendary Kracklestone as the duo work together to beat the evil Dr. Quack to the ancient treasure. Their friendship will be tested like never before as they face an enormous, dangerous, and unpredictable world. Meet new characters and battle new monsters, including some boss-sized baddies!
The book features incredibly lush and detailed artwork. Each page is packed with beautiful illustration-style comic panels. Three-years in the making, Kracklestone was a labor of love for author/artist D.M. Cumbo. Nothing was rushed and no expense was spared. This unique book is a sumptuous feast for the eyes!
